The menu leans confidently into Italian-inspired comfort food while still offering variety. One of the standout options is the Salmon Pizza, a fresh and flavourful choice that shows the kitchen isn’t afraid to move beyond the classics. Seafood lovers often gravitate toward the Seafood Platter, which works beautifully for sharing and pairs nicely with a glass of wine or a cocktail from the bar. The menu feels approachable, the location is easy to reach, and the overall vibe encourages you to stay a little longer. Reviews often highlight the consistency and welcoming feel, which speaks volumes in a busy dining strip like Northcote. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual dinner, sharing plates with friends, or enjoying cocktails in the outdoor seating area, this pizza restaurant delivers an experience that feels genuine and comfortably familiar.

“ Pickup order on a Saturday night, bit hard to find parking but expected for the location. Preordered online, system worked ok however there was no way to contact the restaurant to rectify The order- I ordered two gf garlic bread and was given 2 garlic pizzas instead, which were cheaper than the ordered item. Luckily no one in our party required GF but I was disappointed in the substitution given the price difference & we weren't informed We ordered the Aussie, l'atomica, Tropicana, chorizo, gambero & p&v. The base was ok, a bit burnt in places, garlic pizza was a bit dry but flavours are tasty. Toppings were reasonably generous though found the pizzas quite pricey for what they are Updated to 4 stars to reflect the reasonable response to my review ”

“ We recently visited Pizza E Vino on a bustling Monday night, and let's just say it was an experience filled with highs and lows. As we walked in, the atmosphere crackled with energy, but it quickly became apparent that the restaurant was running on a skeleton crew. The seemingly endless line of diners waiting for tables highlighted how busy they were, and sadly, that meant the service suffered. Despite the chaos, our waiter, was an absolute gem. He greeted us with a warm smile and managed to juggle multiple tables with grace and efficiency, all while keeping his cool amidst the hussle and bussle. It’s always such a pleasure to encounter someone who clearly cares about their job and provides exceptional service even when the odds are stacked against them. Now, let’s talk about the food – specifically, the pizza, which did not disappoint. We ordered the Gambero and a Salmon and both were fantastic. The crust was perfectly crispy, the sauce had a rich depth of flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh. You could tell that they take pride in their recipes, and it’s definitely a highlight of our visit. However, the atmosphere took a nosedive when we overheard our waiter receiving an unwarranted reprimand from the management. It was uncomfortable to witness, especially given how hard he was working under pressure. After our meal, we took a moment to mention to the manager how impressed we were with our waiter's service. Instead of appreciating our feedback, the manager responded with a snide remark disparaging Jake’s performance. It was disheartening and left a sour taste in our mouths, especially since this worker had clearly been doing his best despite the overwhelming circumstances. ”

“ Dirk had been swept away in the floods and I took shelter here until he could get things together. I’m glad it happened, because I discovered a fantastic place. Friendly staff, great location and delicious pizza. As a result, I have awarded it 5 stars out of 5 stars. ”

“ The thin crust pizzas were delicious. The base was crunchy (in a good way) and held up to the juicy cheesy toppings. Cutlets were cooked well. Service was good and the warm seating area appreciated on a very wet Melbourne day. ”

“ Food was really nice! They're not joking when they say 'monster Parma' it was huge! The lamb in the tapas section was definitely a highlight! The shoestring fries were also salted to perfection! The cheese that they use for the Parma + eggplant parm was delicious! Another highlight was the cheese and garlic pizza- a must! Friendly service also! Food items listed in the attached photos: Pic 1: parma Pic 2: lamb (tapas), meatballs (tapas) Pic 3: oysters & eggplant parmigiana (tapas) Pic 4: churos! ”

“ Seriously some of the very best Italian food in Melbourne. The food is on another level amazing. That Parma is heavenly. The pastas are delectable. ”

“ Compliments to the chefs! We ordered a bunch of things for a birthday celebration. Calamari mains - this was so good. Im usually sceptical about calamari but this one went above and beyond. Also came with salad and chips, which were so thin and crispy like steak frites Eggplant parmigiana - Very nice. The cheese and eggplant goes really well together Burrata salad - This was surprisingly SO good. I thought it’d be a plain starter but the sauce was so tangy and amazing. Loved how it came with crispy flatbread. Ragu linguine - Must order. The meat soft, sauce moreish, linguine perfect soft to chewiness ratio. Not a big ragu fan but this one is an exception Seafood risotto - Al dente texture was done well. Had quite some scallops and mussels, pretty good value Artichoke pizza - Another pleasant surprise. It was my first time trying artichoke and we were are exclaiming on how good it was Lamb tapas - came in a little bowl with flatbread. The spices were quite interesting, was an ufamiliar taste profile (middle eastern?) but was good nonetheless Only downside was that we had to wait quite a bit for the food. Wouldve preferred to have tapas first and mains as they come out rather than everything served at once. But overall very happy with the food ”
